Pharmacy Technician

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a veterinary or medical pharmacy professional with strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to excellent patient and client service.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Familiarity with prescription fulfillment and inventory management systems

• A proactive, collaborative mindset

• Previous experience in a veterinary or medical pharmacy setting (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately fill prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients in a timely manner

• Monitor and maintain pharmacy inventory, ordering supplies as needed

• Serve as a liaison between departments to coordinate medication and product needs

• Process prescription refill requests professionally and efficiently

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, ensuring correct dosages and ingredients

• Educate clients on proper medication administration, potential interactions, and side effects
