Personal Support Specialist (PSS)
Job Summary:
Mount Joseph at Waterville is seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to join our team. Under the direction of the Registered or Licensed Nurse Manager/Designee, the PSS will provide assigned residents with routine daily personal care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.
Responsibilities:
Follow resident care plans and provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, nail, hair, skin, and foot care
Assist residents with elimination needs, including assistance to and from the bathroom or commode, and assistive devices such as bedpans or urinals
Assist residents with ambulating needs, including use of assistive devices such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts
Observe, report, and document any changes in the resident's physical or mental status
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
PSS certification
