What You'll Do:
As an FEA Simulation Engineer, you'll play a key role in helping engineers make smarter design decisions through advanced analysis and simulation.
You'll:
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on automotive components and systems
- Build, execute, and monitor simulation models using industry-leading CAE tools
- Analyze results and provide clear engineering recommendations
- Work closely with design, testing, and product development teams to optimize performance
- Correlate simulation models with physical test and instrumentation data
- Develop scripts, macros, and automation tools to improve simulation efficiency
- Present technical findings during engineering design reviews
- Support continuous improvement of simulation methods and engineering workflows
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), CAE, simulation engineering, or product development
- Strong understanding of:
- Structural mechanics
- Statics and dynamics
- Material behavior
- Engineering fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience:
You'll stand out if you have experience with:
- Abaqus FEA
- CATIA
- Python, MATLAB, Java, or other engineering programming languages
- Automotive, motorsports, aerospace, or high-performance vehicle development
- Internal combustion, hybrid, or electric vehicle powertrains
- Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Optimization techniques
- Control systems
- Correlating simulation models with physical testing
