This team specializes in VoIP systems, SIP trunking, and cloud-based communications, working with platforms like 3CX, Asterisk, and Microsoft Teams Voice alongside networking and firewall technologies.
You will become the go-to expert in VoIP and PBX systems while still working hands-on in a fast-paced MSP environment. You'll handle everything from deployments to escalations, giving you deep exposure to voice infrastructure and real ownership over projects. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys troubleshooting call flows, working with SIP, and wants to build a niche skillset that's always in demand, all while having room to grow into a senior or architect-level role.
Required Skills & Experience
3 years of experience in VoIP or network engineering
Hands-on experience with PBX systems (3CX, Asterisk, or similar)
Strong understanding of SIP, call routing, and VoIP protocols
Solid networking knowledge (VLANs, QoS, firewalls)
Experience troubleshooting voice quality issues (latency, jitter, packet loss)
Strong client-facing communication skills
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with Microsoft Teams Voice or other UCaaS platforms
Familiarity with SBCs (Session Border Controllers)
Knowledge of carrier provisioning and SIP trunking
Exposure to cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
Relevant VoIP or networking certifications
