Motel 6 on Victory Drive is looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our team. If you're good at fixing things and take pride in keeping things running right, we want to hear from you.

Location: 3050 Victory Dr, Columbus, GA 31903 (On-Site)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Available - Includes Weekends
Pay: Competitive Hourly Pay - Based on Experience

What You'll Do:

General Repairs: Fix plumbing leaks, unclog drains, replace broken lights, repair faulty electrical outlets/switches, and fix damaged furniture, doors, and hardware.

HVAC and Systems: Check, clean, and maintain heating, air conditioning, and ventilation units so they run well. Troubleshoot minor issues.

Preventative Maintenance: Regularly inspect guest rooms, common areas, and equipment to stop problems before they start. Keep a maintenance log.

Guest Service: Answer repair requests quickly and politely from the front desk while respecting guest privacy.

General Upkeep: Paint walls, patch drywall, fix tiles, do minor carpentry, and care for outdoor areas, parking lot, and pool area.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous maintenance / handyman experience preferred (hotel, apartment, or facilities a plus)
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry
• Able to safely use hand and power tools
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently
• Able to lift 50 lbs, stand, bend, climb ladders
• Friendly, professional, and respectful to guests and staff
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
