The People & Culture Generalist is responsible for supporting and executing core People & Culture initiatives that enhance the colleague experience, strengthen organizational culture, and ensure operational excellence. This role partners closely with leaders and colleagues to provide day-to-day human resource support across colleague relations, performance management, onboarding, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of human resources experience, a strong foundation in human resources best practices, and a passion for building an engaging and inclusive workplace.

This role partners closely with leaders and colleagues to provide day-to-day human resource support across colleague relations, performance management, onboarding, and compliance. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of human resources experience, a strong foundation in human resources best practices, and a passion for building an engaging and inclusive workplace.
Job Duties
- Serve as a primary point of contact for colleagues and leaders, providing guidance on company human resources policies, procedures, and best practices
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for colleagues
- Maintain and update colleague records in HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Manage colleague leaves of absence, including FMLA and other applicable programs, ensuring compliance and a supportive colleague experience
- Support payroll processing in partnership with Finance and Accounting, including data validation, audits, and issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support benefits administration, including colleague education and issue resolution
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability
- All other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices
- Experience handling colleague relations matters with professionalism and discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g. BambooHR) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization
- Experience in healthcare, health technology, or post-acute care environments
- Prior experience supporting a scaling SaaS organization
- Experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment
- Exposure to employee engagement or culture initiatives
- This position uses a computer and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The in-office noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Frequent interruptions may be encountered throughout the workday.
