Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide skilled nursing care to our residents while promoting their health, comfort, and quality of life. This position is responsible for assessing residents, administering medications and treatments, monitoring skin integrity and wound care, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and ensuring care is provided in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and comprehensive resident assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and manage skin integrity and wound care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Accurately document resident care and communicate changes in condition.
- Supervise and support nursing assistants while promoting a positive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility policies and regulations.
- Advocate for residents while maintaining their dignity, comfort, and well-being.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
- A compassionate attitude and commitment to providing exceptional resident care.
