Our 18-bed, 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility is currently seeking compassionate and dependable PRN Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team.
The primary purpose of our nurses is to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, including medication administration, treatments, wound and skin care, resident assessments, and coordination of care as prescribed by the physician. Nursing care is provided in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice, state and federal regulations, and under the direction of the Director of Nursing or designated nursing supervisor.
As a PRN nurse, you will play a vital role in maintaining our residents' health, safety, and quality of life while helping to provide coverage for vacations, call-offs, and other staffing needs. Our nurses are valued members of a close-knit team that takes pride in providing personalized, resident-centered care in a family-like environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Perform resident assessments and report changes in condition.
- Provide wound and skin care management.
- Accurately document resident care in the electronic medical record.
- Supervise and support STNAs in providing quality resident care.
- Respond to resident needs and emergencies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional resident care.
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification (preferred).
- Long-term care experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
