We are currently seeking a PRN State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team. This position offers flexible scheduling to help cover vacations, call-offs, and increased staffing needs.
Job Summary
As a PRN STNA, you will provide direct resident care under the supervision of the nursing staff. You will assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, comfort, and safety. Our STNAs play a vital role in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care and creating a warm, home-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living.
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
- Obtain and record vital signs and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse.
- Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Answer resident call lights promptly and provide compassionate care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Follow infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other team members to provide exceptional resident care.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification.
- Current CPR certification (preferred).
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to safely assist residents with transfers and mobility.
- Previous long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.50 per hour
