About the Role
The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process across the U.S. and supporting hiring initiatives in Canada in collaboration with the Canadian HR Manager. You’ll lead talent acquisition efforts, develop our employer branding presence, and partner on key HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience. You’ll also own the internship program and play a key role in onboarding and early employee engagement.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for US & Canadian roles across all functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, interview strategies, and hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager in Canada and legal to align recruitment best practices across North America.
- Build and manage a talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, networking, and referral programs.
- Lead diversity recruiting efforts and ensure equitable hiring practices.
- Champion a positive, equitable, and professional candidate experience at every stage.
- Communicate proactively with candidates and provide timely updates to both candidate and hiring managers.
- Facilitate smooth interview scheduling, evaluations, and selection processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage talent acquisition branding & Careers Page
- Improve branding and visibility on recruiting platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Share our brand story, mission, and values through strategic recruitment marketing content.
- Design and manage the company’s internship program.
- Partner with department leaders to scope intern projects and ensure meaningful learning experiences.
- Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and performance feedback for interns.
- Enhance the new hire onboarding process in collaboration with the HR and legal team.
- Coach and guide hiring managers on interview best practices, structured assessments, and selection decisions.
- Lead intake meetings and provide regular updates on recruiting progress and market trends.
- Collaborate with Head of HR on compensation, internal equity, and offer recommendations.
- Support employee experience initiatives and help build a strong culture.
- Collect and analyze recruitment and retention data to inform strategy and improve employee engagement.
Metrics & Reporting
- Track key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, pipeline activity, etc.).
- Provide weekly or monthly reports and insights to HR leadership.
- Use data to recommend adjustments to recruiting strategy.
Other Duties
- Assist with onboarding, workforce planning, or HR projects as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-department environment.
- Ability to work with urgency, accuracy, and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated success managing high requisition loads while delivering quality results.
- Strong understanding of employment law, interviewing techniques, and talent acquisition best practices.
