Financial Analyst – Plant Finance
Full-Time | Permanent
Location: Ennis, Texas
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Financial Analyst to support plant finance operations at its Ennis facility. This role will partner closely with plant leadership and finance teams to provide reporting, operational analysis, forecasting support, and financial insights that drive business performance.

What You’ll Do
Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, inventory support, and variance analysis
• Prepare financial reports and operating statements with supporting analysis
• Assist with product costing and manufacturing cost reporting
• Validate BOMs and raw material usage to ensure cost accuracy
Operational Analysis & Business Support
• Partner with operations leaders to provide actionable financial insights
• Analyze production data, scrap, yields, and operational performance metrics
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting to support decision-making
• Monitor plant process compliance and identify operational improvement opportunities
Forecasting & Planning
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assist with variance analysis and performance tracking
• Provide analysis on operational drivers impacting financial results
Continuous Improvement & Projects
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Support process improvements and reporting enhancements
• Develop expertise in manufacturing finance and plant operations
What You Bring
• 3–5 years of financial analysis or accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of cost accounting and budgeting principles
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• ERP system experience required; JDE experience considered an asset
• Ability to communicate effectively across finance and operations teams
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have
• CPA/CMA designation in progress or completed
• MBA or advanced business education
• Experience supporting plant operations within a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline
• Understanding of IFRS and/or GAAP principles
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
