Financial Analyst – Operations Finance
Full-Time | Permanent
Location: Rock Hill, South Carolina
An established manufacturing company is looking to add a Financial Analyst to its operations finance team. This role supports plant financial reporting, forecasting, operational analysis, and business partnership initiatives across manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Do
Month-End Close & Reporting
• Assist with monthly close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and inventory support
• Prepare financial reporting packages and variance analysis for leadership review
• Support product costing analysis and manufacturing financial reporting
• Validate raw material and BOM data to support costing accuracy
Operations & Financial Partnership
• Partner with plant teams to deliver financial insights and operational analysis
• Analyze production performance, scrap, yields, and operational KPIs
• Support the development and refinement of KPI reporting
• Monitor operational compliance and escalate issues as needed
• Build strong working relationships with finance and plant leadership teams
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
• Support annual planning and forecasting cycles
• Track performance against budget and forecast expectations
• Assist with scenario analysis and performance reporting
Projects & Process Improvement
• Participate in ad hoc analysis and cross-functional initiatives
• Support process improvement efforts across finance and operations
• Continue developing knowledge of manufacturing finance and operational processes
What You Bring
• 3–5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience
• Manufacturing industry exposure preferred
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial reporting
• ERP experience required; JDE preferred
• Advanced Excel and analytical capabilities
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively within operational environments
Nice to Have
• CPA/CMA designation completed or underway
• MBA or related advanced education
• Experience supporting plant finance operations
• Exposure to manufacturing KPIs and operational analytics
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP standards
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
