Morgan Hunter is partnering with a local organization to add a VP of Talent & People to their leadership team. This role will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, owning the full people function while helping guide the organization through continued growth and transformation.
This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who thrives in a smaller company environment and enjoys building strategy while still being involved in day-to-day execution. The role will focus heavily on driving adoption of Claude AI tools across the workforce, organizational development, talent strategy, HR operations and compliance.
Requirements
- Drive the use of Claude AI technology across the organization, serving as the subject matter expert.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on people strategy and organizational growth
- Lead and execute talent development, workforce planning, and employee experience initiatives
- Drive organizational change management efforts as the company evolves and scales
- Oversee all HR functions including employee relations, benefits, compliance, and HR operations
- Manage and develop HR team members while building scalable processes and programs
- Support compensation, benefits, and performance management strategies
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and improve HR programs
Qualifications
- 8 years of progressive HR leadership experience
- Experience in a high-growth, technology, or data-driven environment preferred
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership
- Experience leading organizational change and scaling HR functions
- Hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines in a smaller company setting
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR operations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience with AI tools and willingness to incorporate them into daily work
