Project Accounting Associate
The Accounting Associate supports core accounting functions, including billing, accounts receivable, job cost tracking, and compliance. This role helps ensure accurate financial data, timely invoicing and collections, and adherence to required documentation and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy in pricing, tax treatment, and documentation
- Monitor accounts receivable and support collections efforts
- Track and record incoming payments for proper application
- Assist with job cost tracking, expense coding, and reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams
- Support vendor and subcontractor payment processes
- Maintain compliance documentation, including tax forms and lien waivers
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in accounting, billing, or accounts receivable
- Construction or project-based accounting experience preferred
- ERP system experience and strong Excel skills
