What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload freight via sit down forklift truck, reach truck, and other powered industrial material handling equipment
- Receive, distribute, and store products as directed in designated, secure locations that are managed via our online Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
- Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments and become familiar with Warehouse Management System (WMS) in order to make inventory adjustments as needed
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in performing cycle counts as needed
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations set forth by OSHA
- Conduct routine safety inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and overall safety of Moran Logistics operations
Requirements:
- To be at least 18 years of age
- Proficiency in basic math, arithmetic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and with attention to detail
