Job Summary: Plans, organizes, and directs the operational activities of the medical practice under the direction of Management and leadership of the organization. Provides supervision for all practice staff. Requires proficient knowledge of Managed Care, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines and billing, a thorough knowledge of the EMR system to complete daily tasks and to be able to train staff and new hires. Provides communication and guidance to staff and ensure policies and procedures are being followed. Communicates with corporate peers and all levels of internal and external customers. Must promote and maintain the goals and objectives of the organization while representing the brand with a positive, professional attitude and appearance at all times.
Essential Job Qualifications
- Education: High school graduate; College degree in business administration or healthcare administration preferred
- Experience: Minimum of three years management experience in a hospital or medical office setting
- Training/Certification: CPC preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have strong physician interpersonal relationship skills
- Must possess a thorough understanding of running a medical office practice and possess business skills required to run an operationally efficient practice.
- Must possess excellent organizational, written and verbal skills.

- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate tactfully and effectively with employees and internal and external customers.

- Must have proficient knowledge of ICD9 and CPT codes, billing and collections.

- Must have exemplary customer service skills and train and manage staff to possess those skills.
- Must be proficient with computers including Microsoft Word and Excel.
