Practice Manager, Full Time

Salary Range: $60,000 - $68,000
- Job Summary: Plans, organizes, controls and directs the operational activities of the medical practice. Provides supervision for all staff ensuring all company policies are being followed. Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, staff members and all other internal and external contacts. Requires proficient knowledge of Managed Care, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, billing and coding expertise. Must promote and maintain the goals and objectives of the organization while representing the practice with a positive, professional attitude and appearance at all times.
- Essential Job Qualifications
- Education: High school graduate; Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in supervision and/or management experience in a hospital or medical office setting
- Training/Certification:

- Must possess a thorough understanding of running a medical office practice and possess business skills required to run an operationally efficient practice.
- Must possess excellent organizational, written and verbal skills.
- Must be able to work independently and use good judgment for situations that require initiative and ingenuity.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate tactfully and effectively with employees and internal and external customers.
- Must be able to hire, train and manage employees effectively.
- Must have knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Must be familiar with all medical procedures performed in the office and/or hospital.
- Must have proficient knowledge of ICD9 and CPT codes, billing and collections.
- Must have a working knowledge of industry regulations.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks, assignments, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Must possess problem solving skills and abilities.
- Must have exemplary customer service skills and train and manage staff to possess those skills.
- Must be proficient with computers including Microsoft Word and Excel.
