Job Summary: The Employment Specialist will assist the HR Manager in areas such as talent acquisition and procedural functions within a fast-paced environment.
- Will be responsible for full cycle recruitment, selecting highly qualified applicants for vacant positions, which will include pre-screening candidates, conducting interviews, and scheduling applicants for interviewing with hiring managers.
- Will use various resources and social media to advertise and attend job fairs, creating a steady pipeline of candidates for open positions.
- Conduct work reference and background checks on potential candidates ensuring a timely completion of pre-employment requirements and paperwork.
- Responsible for posting internal and external postings.
- Will coordinate new hire on-boarding processes such as employee health visits and new employee orientation. Will collect any onboarding paperwork received in a timely manner and required before date of hire.
- Maintain ongoing contact with applicants and Managers.
- Will provide excellent customer service to enhance the hiring experience for new employees.
- Assists with verification of employment requests received in HR while completing in a timely manner.
- Run audit reports to ensure required licensed and certifications are active; ensuring renewals received are updated on the HR system and other recordkeeping.
Essential Job Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a Human Resources professional role responsible for full cycle recruitment in a Human Resources Department within an organization; healthcare industry preferred. Knowledge and experience working within an applicant tracking system and other HRIS softwares. Knowledge and proficiency within recruitment processes specifically in a healthcare environment preferred.
3. Training/Certification: SHRM certification preferred.

5. Other: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must appreciate the value of working as part of a team. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and be able to multi task. Be a self-starter, assertive, resourceful and goal-oriented. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
Salary : $63,500
