We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full-Time Central Sterile Technician in our Montefiore, New Rochelle Facility.
The Central Sterile Technician performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging , scanning , sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Education and Requirements:
- Must have completed a Central Sterile Processing certification course, and completed 400 hours internship and successfully passed the certification test.
- Certification IAHCSMM, 12 CEUs yearly / CSPD 100 CEU'S per 5 years.
- 3 years Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must have knowledge and be competent of the following:
- Sterrad NX - Low temperature, Steris Steam Autoclave - Pre-vacuum. Getinge- Steam Autoclave Pre-vacuum ,Getinge- Ultrasonic Machines, Getinge- Washers, Getinge cart washers Insulation tester for laparoscopic instruments Heat seal machine for Steam and Sterrad peel pouches.
