Montefiore New Rochelle, a community based hospital which is part of the Montefiore Einstein, is seeking a Nursing Technician/Patient Care Technician to join our team. We have a Part time mid shift position in our Emergency Department

Job Duties Include:

• Take and record patient's height/weight, health history, and vital signs including blood pressure and blood drawing and EKG's.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Prepare examination rooms
• Sterilize equipment
• Assist in clerical procedures but not limited to scheduling patients, answering phones
• Performs routine tests such as urinalysis , blood sugar and hematocrit

Education and Requirements:

• Graduate of State Certified Program and High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a technician program or hospital program.
• EKG/Phlebotomy/BLS Certification required
