Job Description:
The Marketing Manager is a revenue-generating role responsible for owning the full retention and engagement marketing strategy for the client's existing subscriber base, driving lifetime value, product adoption, and revenue expansion across the organization's app and product ecosystem.
Job Summary
•Own end-to-end retention and engagement marketing strategy, from planning through execution, with a focus on increasing member lifetime value and reducing churn
•Drive revenue expansion from the existing customer base by promoting the organization's full product ecosystem, including events, merchandise, and partner and affiliate offers
•Build and optimize monthly-to-annual membership conversion infrastructure and upgrade campaigns
•Create and execute in-app marketing campaigns to promote feature adoption, product excitement, and community participation
•Own the email nurture and conversion strategy for existing subscribers, ensuring all communications reflect brand voice and are optimized for engagement
•Execute affiliate and partner campaigns targeting the existing member base to generate incremental revenue
•Manage and develop a junior marketing coordinator, modeling a culture of urgency, ownership, and execution
Minimum Requirements:
•6-8 years of marketing experience with a focus on retention, lifecycle, or member/subscriber growth
•Proven track record driving revenue from an existing customer base through upsells, cross-sells, affiliate campaigns, or product expansion
•Strong email marketing background, including the ability to build, write, and optimize campaigns independently
•Experience with B2B SaaS, membership models, subscription apps, or community-driven products
•Data-driven approach with comfort pulling and acting on insights from email and app performance metrics
•Experience managing at least one direct report with demonstrated ability to build toward a team
Preferred Qualifications:
•Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel, including campaign management, automation workflows, and marketing funnels
•Experience building and optimizing funnels using ClickFunnels or similar platforms
•CRM platform experience, with HubSpot strongly preferred
•Experience executing and managing mass SMS/text marketing campaigns
•Experience supporting both web and mobile application marketing initiatives
•Familiarity with ambassador or referral program infrastructure
