What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable / Accounting Assistant position at Momper Insulation?
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers.
- Record and track incoming payments.
- Follow up on past-due accounts professionally.
- Keep detailed and organized AR records.
- Assist the office team with general accounting and admin duties.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college or accounting coursework is a plus).
- Prior office or AR experience preferred.
- Strong Excel and data entry skills.
- Great communication and follow-up habits.
- Construction industry experience is helpful but not required.
Physical demands:
The physical demands of this position include the ability to remain seated for extended periods while working on a computer, use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and handling documents, and occasionally move throughout the office to retrieve files or supplies. The role may require lifting and carrying standard office items, such as file boxes or paperwork, typically up to 20 lbs., as well as sufficient visual and auditory abilities to read documents, enter data accurately, and communicate with customers and team members.
