What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Mechanic position at Momper Insulation?
Job Responsibilities:
- Use scanners and computer diagnostic tools to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain gas and diesel engines
- Repair and maintain pumps and pump systems
- Repair and maintain hydraulic systems and hydraulic brakes
- Repair and maintain air brake systems
- Perform air conditioning repairs
- Perform Arc and MIG welding
- Complete other tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license required; Chauffeur’s license needed (CDL is a plus)
- Comfortable using scanners and computer diagnostic tools
- Cummins Insite experience is a plus
- Experience with small engine repair
- Able to bend, twist, lift, and move throughout the workday
Physical Demands:
- Regular bending, lifting, twisting, and standing
- Ability to work in a shop or outdoor environment
