Quality Engineer
Sellersville, PA | On-Site | Direct Hire | Full-Time |Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Salary: $75,000 - $90,000
An established industrial manufacturer is seeking a Quality Engineer to play a key role in advancing quality initiatives, strengthening operational processes, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

What You'll Be Doing- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Customer Service to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced quality performance.
- Lead investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
- Support and enhance the organization's ISO 9001 quality system to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
- Monitor quality trends, analyze data, and recommend improvements to reduce defects and improve reliability.
- Develop and maintain inspection methods, quality procedures, and work instructions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish expectations, address quality concerns, and support supplier improvement efforts.
- Participate in internal, external, and customer audits while helping drive closure of audit findings.
- Support inspection activities for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Train employees on quality requirements, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist with customer quality inquiries, product concerns, and occasional on-site support activities.
- Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as business needs evolve.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent quality experience within manufacturing environments will be considered.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering or a related manufacturing quality role.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and quality system requirements.
- Experience conducting root cause investigations using methodologies such as 8D, CAPA, 5 Why, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement practices is a plus.
- Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to resolving issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
