Quality Control Supervisor
Howell Township, NJ| $100,000–$110,000 salary
Schedule: 100% Onsite | Mon–Thurs | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift)
About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a manufacturer in Howell Township that’s hiring a Quality Control Supervisor to lead daily QC operations on the production floor. This is a hands-on role for someone coming from a GMP/FDA-regulated environment who can train teams, tighten processes, and drive quality results.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Train and coach QC Inspectors and plant operators on inspection procedures and quality expectations
- Ensure inspection coverage across production lines and daily operations
- Maintain training records and support SOP/GMP/GDP training
- Review batch records quickly and accurately to ensure compliance
- Manage the hold/release process and communicate status to site leadership
- Support customer complaint investigations with required quality data
- Oversee sample flow to the Quality Lab and support OOS investigations
- Maintain retain samples and related documentation
- Escalate defects to management and enforce SOPs/GMP standards
- Lead and develop the QC team while reducing defects and customer complaints
What They’re Looking For
- 2 years in a GMP and/or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment
- Prior leadership/lead experience (supervising, training, or owning QC execution)
- Strong attention to detail and comfort enforcing standards on the floor
- Experience with batch record review and documentation compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field preferred (not required with strong experience)
- Familiarity with regulated standards is a plus (ex: 21 CFR 111, HACCP)
