Marketing Operations Activation Manager
Bolingbrook, IL | $75,000 – $90,000
Schedule: Full-time | Onsite
An established and rapidly growing international food importer and distributor is seeking a Marketing Operations Activation Manager to support brand execution, operational marketing processes, and B2B activation initiatives. This role plays a key part in driving engagement, improving marketing workflow, supporting product launches, and enhancing customer-facing programs across a diverse multicultural product portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working cross-functionally and making an operational impact within a fast-moving organization.
What You’ll Be DoingExecuting marketing activation plans and supporting daily campaign delivery
Managing B2B programs that drive customer engagement, order frequency, and basket size
Leveraging marketing tools and platforms (Pepperi, Mailchimp, Plytix, 1WS, Website CMS, Ring, SharePoint/Marketing Hub)
Supporting Sales with retail programs, displays, advertising assets and POP materials
Managing product-related workflows such as launches, label updates, supplier updates, and compliance projects
Owning project management tracking (Wrike) and updating SOPs
Developing KPI reporting dashboards for leadership visibility and decision support
Maintaining accurate marketing assets within PIM/DAM systems (Plytix)
Supporting data migration, integration, and onboarding during acquisitions
Maintaining marketing calendars, assets, and master data accuracy in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
2 years in marketing operations, activation, or project management (CPG or food industry a plus)
Experience with CRM, CMS, PIM, DAM or related marketing technology systems
Strong organizational and project management capabilities
Analytical mindset with KPI development and reporting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
Willingness to support team needs and take on additional responsibilities
Experience using AI tools a plus
