Overview
A growing financial services organization is seeking a Manager of Learning & Development to design and lead enterprise-wide training initiatives. This role will be responsible for building and executing a forward-looking training strategy that supports both internal teams and external stakeholders, including independent partners.
This is a highly visible role reporting into senior leadership, with the opportunity to shape the future of training across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong execution skills, experience leading teams, and a passion for developing scalable, high-impact learning programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy for employees and external stakeholders across the organization
- Assess training needs through performance data, stakeholder feedback, and business objectives
- Design and deliver engaging learning programs including onboarding, compliance, leadership development, and technical training
- Build scalable, standardized training programs while also developing custom content where necessary
- Create and oversee e-learning modules and blended learning solutions across multiple channels (omnichannel delivery)
- Manage and optimize the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS)
- Partner with department leaders to ensure training content is aligned with business goals and remains up to date
- Measure and evaluate training effectiveness, adjusting programs to maximize engagement and ROI
- Manage vendor relationships, training budgets, and external training resources
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior training professionals
- Ensure all training programs meet regulatory and compliance requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field
- 7 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Talent Management
- 3 years of leadership experience managing and developing teams
- Strong experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) (required)
- Experience designing and delivering omnichannel training programs (in-person, virtual, e-learning)
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Base Salary: $112,500
- Bonus: 20% target (Total compensation up to ~$135K)
