Mammography Technologist (Breast Imaging)
Location: Boca Raton | Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Compensation:$75,000 – $95,000 (DOE) Bonus Potential
A well-established and growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to support its breast imaging services. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging while ensuring a compassionate, patient-focused experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and committed to providing high-quality care in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Ensure high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation safety standards
- Prepare and position patients, clearly explaining procedures to ensure comfort
- Review images for quality and completeness prior to radiologist interpretation
- Assist with additional breast imaging procedures, including breast ultrasound or biopsy support (as applicable)
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely diagnoses
- Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of mammography equipment
- Follow all MQSA, safety, and infection control guidelines
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT (M) – Mammography certification required
- 2 years of mammography experience required (5 years preferred for top range)
- Experience with digital mammography and 3D tomosynthesis preferred
- Strong knowledge of breast imaging protocols and positioning
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive base salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (DOE)
