Logistics Clerk – Manufacturing (REQUIRED)
Temp-to-Hire | Romeoville, IL
Pay: $18–$21/hr Benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Overview
A well-established company is seeking a Logistics Clerk with experience in manufacturing environments to support shipping, order processing, and coordination across warehouse and production teams.
Experience in food manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and invoice outgoing orders daily
- Enter and manage EDI orders (KeHE, Kroger, Value, etc.)
- Coordinate shipments using ERP/WMS systems (SAP or similar)
- Schedule and confirm pickups and delivery appointments
- Track shipments and ensure on-time processing
- Resolve order discrepancies with internal teams
- Maintain accurate logistics and compliance documentation
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (REQUIRED)
- Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
