A rapidly growing, private equity-backed organization is seeking a highly capable Director, Business Operations to serve as the operational execution partner to the Chief Operating Officer. This individual will play a critical role in driving organizational execution, operational scalability, cross-functional alignment, and enterprise-wide accountability across a dynamic, high-growth business.

Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Partnership & Strategic ExecutionPartner directly with the COO to execute strategic initiatives across the organization.
Serve as the operational execution leader for high-priority company initiatives.
Create leverage for executive leadership by independently driving projects from concept through implementation.
Support executive decision-making through operational analysis and business insights.
Drive alignment and accountability across multiple business functions.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure organizational priorities remain on schedule.
Eliminate operational bottlenecks and improve communication between departments.
Lead enterprise-wide operational initiatives that improve efficiency and scalability.
Lead operational integration efforts related to acquisitions and newly acquired business units.
Support platform expansion and organizational growth initiatives.
Assist with change management during periods of organizational transformation.
Develop and maintain executive KPI dashboards and operational reporting.
Establish company operating cadence through leadership meetings, accountability tracking, and performance reviews.
Monitor business performance and recommend operational improvements based on key metrics.
Ensure visibility into organizational priorities and execution progress.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, operational processes, and organizational efficiency.
Support implementation of new technologies, systems, automation, and AI-enabled business initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple departments.
Lead complex, high-impact projects from planning through execution.
Manage competing priorities while maintaining project timelines and organizational objectives.
Prepare executive presentations, reporting, and strategic business analyses.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in Business Operations, Strategic Operations, Management Consulting, Project Leadership, or Operational Management.
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect operational decisions to overall company performance.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational execution.
Experience building KPI frameworks, dashboards, and operational reporting.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Outstanding communication and executive presentation abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently.
MBA.
Experience within a private equity-backed, founder-led, or high-growth organization.
Experience supporting acquisition integration and organizational scaling.
Franchise industry experience.
Experience implementing AI, automation, or operational technology solutions.
Highly intelligent business generalist with strong financial and operational acumen.
Proactive with a strong bias toward action and execution.
