GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Operations Administrative Assistant facilitates the timely execution of paperwork and reporting for Purchasing, Production, and Logistics. This individual will provide data entry, ordering support, and assist with projects that enable accuracy and improvement in the daily operations of our supply chain. This position coordinates data entry needed daily for Production, executes physical counts for Purchasing, and assists with data entry required for operational compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to Mohawk’s leadership and department heads.
- Execute daily routine reporting for:
- Production
- Purchasing
- Scheduling functions
- Complete data entry for Receiving to update inventory and trigger payment.
- Complete data entry for Production to update inventory.
- Complete data entry of hours worked for Production personnel.
- Conduct walk-throughs of production supplies and execute their reorders to replenish them, in partnership with Mohawk’s Buyer.
- Maintain organized systems for digital files, reports, and documentation.
- Assist with implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to read, write, and speak English language and be understood.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to work with various technology.
- Must exhibit a professional appearance and interact professionally with people both in person and on the telephone.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft software application (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required, college degree preferred. Minimum of 2-4 years in a manufacturing facility with a role in operations or supply chain. Prior experience working with an ERP system preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders and lifting up to 40 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Perform office activities in a well lighted and well ventilated area. May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to dust.
