Position Summary

A technology-focused role in a healthcare setting, specializing in X-ray imaging. This position requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide direct patient care while maintaining safety and quality standards in imaging.

• Patient Care: Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes and answering any questions, while providing necessary physical support.


• Imaging Procedures: Position patients and imaging equipment to acquire high-quality images, including X-rays and other modalities as needed.


• Safety and Protection: Implement and monitor radiation safety protocols and shielding measures to minimize exposure to patients and staff.


• Image Evaluation: Review images for technical quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet the required standards for diagnostic purposes.


• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging results in the appropriate systems.


• Collaboration: Work alongside radiologists and physicians to determine the necessary imaging procedures for optimal patient care.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.


• Current ARRT certification required.

This position involves weekend shifts consisting of two 16-hour shifts. The facility does not have specific on-call requirements for this role.
