Shift Notes

The scheduled shift is from Saturday morning 7:30 AM to Sunday night 7:30 PM EST, guaranteeing 36 hours per week.

• Weekend schedule will be determined by the facility's needs.


• On-call schedule will be established based on facility policies.

Under the direction of the Director of Radiology and the Chief Radiologist, the Computed Tomography Technologist plays a crucial role in ensuring patient care and safety during CT examinations. Responsibilities include:

• Operating CT equipment efficiently and safely.


• Maintaining accurate records related to CT procedures.


• Managing inventory by stocking necessary supplies.


• Organizing patient schedules for examinations.

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in a hospital setting, specifically with CT and X-Ray.


• Travel experience is highly preferred.


• Must have a valid ARRT certification and BLS (AHA) certification; willingness to maintain or obtain necessary certifications is preferred.

The position is located in a rural area with limited housing options and public transportation. Candidates are encouraged to explore housing arrangements prior to taking the position.

The facility is a community hospital that serves a rural population of around 55,000 across multiple towns. It is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare with compassion and respect, offering a wide range of radiological services including diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computed tomography, interventional radiography, MRI, bone density, and mammography. The department is equipped to handle services 24/7 for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients of all ages.

The facility may reserve the right to cancel a limited number of shifts over a specified period based on operational needs. Local candidates are welcome; however, a reduced rate may apply for those residing within a certain distance from the facility.
