Position: Registered Nurse - Chemo Infusion

Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in chemotherapy infusion. We are looking for dedicated and skilled nursing professionals to provide exceptional care to our oncology patients during day shifts.

• Administer chemotherapy and IV therapies, ensuring patient safety and comfort.


• Provide care for patients with central lines and implanted lines.


• Maintain accurate patient records and utilize the Epic charting system.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, phlebotomy, and pharmacy.

• Shift Type: Day, 5x8-hour shifts (07:45 - 17:15)


• Patient Ratios: Days - 1:5


• No weekend shifts required.

• Minimum of 1 year of oncology-specific experience required, with a preference for 2 years.


• First-time travelers are accepted.


• Required Certifications: BLS, ONS Chemo/Bio Card.


• Preferred Certification: OCN.

• Care for adult patients (18 years and older) with hematology and medical oncology diagnoses.


• Utilize 10 infusion chairs designed for social distancing.


• Utilize ambulatory infusion pumps and other special equipment.

• Orientation consists of 8 hours, tailored by skill level.


• Hospital orientation during the first week; availability for daily training sessions is required.

• RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum of 7 days is permitted; adjustments post-booking will not be accepted.


• Travel between Matthews and Ballantyne Clinics may be required (approximately 14.1 miles apart).


• Scrubs are not provided; navy blue scrubs are required.
