MMC Group is hiring for a Sales Manager for our client in Richardson, TX!
The client is a well established B2B manufacturing and product distribution company is hiring a Sales Manager to support and enable a national outside sales team. This role focuses on sales operations, field activity oversight, dealer/showroom support, and sales enablement — not quota-carrying new business.
The ideal candidate brings experience from manufacturing, product, appliance, or building materials environments and has supported field-based B2B sales teams selling through dealers, showrooms, or distributors.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary support partner for outside sales representatives
- Ensure sales reps have the tools, training, product knowledge, and resources needed to succeed
- Oversee sales expenses, enforce policy compliance, and conduct routine audits
- Maintain and update sales policies, procedures, and documentation
- Track field activity, showroom visits, call reports, and travel logs using CRM and sales tools
- Maintain accurate dealer and showroom program records
- Support business development initiatives and market expansion efforts
- Lead adoption and usage of CRM and field sales technology
- Ensure dealer locator and sales-facing website content remains accurate
What We’re Looking For
- 8–10 years of B2B sales, sales operations, or sales management experience
- Background supporting outside/field sales teams
- Experience in manufacturing, product-driven, appliance, or building materials industries strongly preferred
- Familiarity with dealer, showroom, or distribution sales models
- Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) and sales enablement tools
- Collaborative, service-oriented leadership style
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
