We are seeking a versatile Product Owner to support a growing IT organization as it builds out a portfolio management structure and modernizes its tools and processes. This hybrid role blends user-centered design with product ownership and business analysis, serving as a key bridge between end users and the engineering team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive intuitive design in constrained systems, capture detailed requirements, and lead the creation of scalable, user-friendly solutions.
Responsibilities
– Involvement in UX design efforts across multiple portfolios by translating user needs and business goals into clear design solutions
– Partner with portfolio managers, business stakeholders, and developers to elicit requirements and translate them into actionable user stories
– Work within existing platforms (such as HaloITSM) to improve usability, configure workflows, and manage end-to-end experiences
– Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models using Figma and other design tools
– Serve as a design and systems lead, helping establish internal standards and best practices for requirements gathering and user experience
– Support the development of a consistent framework for digital service delivery across the organization’s four portfolios (Member, Finance, Enterprise, Operations)
– Contribute to future enhancements of the website and other digital platforms as opportunities arise
– Navigate technical constraints while advocating for user needs and scalable design
Qualifications
– Exposure to UX design
– Experience collaborating with agile development teams
– Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity, evolving tools, and limited customization
– Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and drive clarity across teams
– Strong communication and documentation abilities, with attention to usability and accessibility
