As an integral part of the underwriting department, you'll evaluate applications, establish policy terms, and ensure compliance with company standards. Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in underwriting software and MS Office Suite
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations
  
  

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with data analysis or modeling tools
• Familiarity with automated underwriting systems
• Previous experience in commercial or personal insurance underwriting
• Strong negotiation skills
  
  

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• 3 years of experience in underwriting or risk assessment
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment
