Our client, a well-known investment bank in Midtown, NY, is looking to add a Model Risk Analyst to their compliance team. This person will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing compliance-based risk models, developing new risk models, and providing relevant insights and updates to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will come with 5-10 years of experience in AML compliance risk modeling for a large investment bank, advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel, and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing existing compliance-based risk models to monitor various compliance-based securities risk metrics
- Coordinating with internal and external auditors to understand model-based recommendations
- Delivering model validation and testing results to senior stakeholders via verbal and written
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of AML compliance-based risk modeling experience for a large investment bank
- Advanced knowledge in areas of AML, transaction monitoring, and financial crime modeling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
