A leading global venture capital and investment platform is seeking a Global Head of Payroll to own end-to-end U.S. and international payroll operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with responsibility for execution today while driving transformation across global payroll systems, processes, and structure.
Job Description:
- Own end-to-end U.S. payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution across all cycles
- Manage international payroll across multiple jurisdictions in coordination with external vendors and in-country providers
- Oversee payroll reconciliations, tax compliance, and general ledger alignment in partnership with Finance
- Support audits, year-end processes, and payroll reporting requirements
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability
- Manage payroll vendors and support global payroll expansion and transformation initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Tax, Legal, and HR on all payroll and compliance matters
In Office Policy: 3x a week in NYC
Total Comp Range: $150K - $200K (inclusive of bonus)
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 8 years of payroll or global mobility tax experience
- Must have international experience (payroll or global mobility)
- CPA, CPP, CFA, or partial designation preferred
