Test Systems Engineer (Mid‑Level)
Mission Intelligence Group is seeking a Mid‑Level Test Systems Engineer to support application, system, and integration testing across complex GEOINT environments. This role supports mission‑critical capabilities across the National System of Geospatial‑Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial‑Intelligence (ASG), and Federal partners to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT delivery.
Your Role
As a Mid‑Level Test Systems Engineer, you will plan, execute, and support testing activities across applications, APIs, and integrated system environments. You will work within traditional, Agile, and DevOps pipelines to validate system performance, identify defects, and ensure solutions meet operational and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform application, system, and integration testing across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency environments
- Execute testing of applications and APIs within DevOps pipelines using government and industry quality standards
- Conduct independent integration testing of system software and hardware to verify compliance with requirements
- Plan and execute manual testing and automated test scripts using scripting and programming languages
- Support defect investigation, documentation, and resolution during test and evaluation activities
- Utilize test management and defect‑tracking tools to support testing activities and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field, or equivalent experience:
- 4 additional years of experience with no degree, or
- 2 additional years with a non‑STEM degree
- 6 years of experience supporting systems integration in government or industry, including:
- Large, complex System‑of‑Systems, or
- Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments
- Experience supporting cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid infrastructures
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
- Experience working in traditional, Agile, and DevOps development environments
- Active TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field
- Experience with tools and technologies, such as:
- JMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee
- GitHub / GitLab
- Java, Bash, Curl, XML, JSON, SQL, Python, JavaScript
- AWS and C2S
- Working knowledge of Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages
- Working knowledge of software development frameworks
- Prior NGA and/or NSG/ASG program or project experience
- Prior IC or DoD program or project experience
