Mission Intelligence Group is seeking an experienced Senior‑Level GEOINT Standards Developer to support the development, maintenance, and governance of imagery‑related GEOINT standards across the National System of Geospatial‑Intelligence (NSG) and Allied partner communities. This role ensures imagery standards enable interoperability, mission effectiveness, and enterprise‑wide data sharing for operational GEOINT users.
Your Role
As a Senior GEOINT Standards Developer, you will provide technical leadership in defining, evolving, and implementing imagery standards that support exploitation, dissemination, and interoperability across GEOINT systems and services. You will collaborate with government stakeholders, analysts, engineers, and standards bodies to ensure imagery standards are operationally relevant, technically sound, and aligned to mission needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and maintenance of GEOINT imagery standards supporting NSG and allied mission requirements
- Provide expert guidance on imagery‑related standards, specifications, profiles, and implementation guidance
- Translate mission and operational needs into standards requirements and technical documentation
- Collaborate with Government, industry, and international partners to coordinate imagery standards adoption
- Evaluate existing and proposed imagery standards to ensure interoperability and mission effectiveness
- Support governance, configuration control, and lifecycle management of imagery standards artifacts
- Coordinate with system developers and integrators to support standards implementation and compliance
- Develop and review technical documentation, implementation guidance, and standards briefings
- Advise stakeholders on imagery data interoperability, metadata, and exploitation considerations
- Represent imagery standards efforts in working groups, boards, and standards forums as required
Required Qualifications

Clearance
- TS/SCI adjudication, with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph

Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM or GEOINT‑related discipline, including:
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- Information Technology
- Geospatial Science
- Imagery Analysis or related field
- Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

- Senior‑level experience supporting GEOINT, imagery, or intelligence standards development
- Experience working within NSG/ASG environments and imagery exploitation ecosystems
- Prior NGA, IC, or DoD program/project experience
- Demonstrated ability to work across technical, analytic, and governance communities
- Experience developing or supporting technical specifications, standards artifacts, or implementation guidance

- Working knowledge of GEOINT systems, services, or pipelines supporting imagery use cases
