Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at North Beach Rehabilitation Center in North Miami Beach, Florida. As a full-time SLP, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain their communication skills and independence. Our center is committed to providing high-quality rehabilitation and skilled nursing care to our patients, and we are looking for a talented professional to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and cognitive disorders
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to patients, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy
• Conduct assessments and screenings to identify patients' communication needs and goals
• Utilize evidence-based practices and technologies to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Participate in patient care conferences and staff meetings to stay updated on patient progress and share knowledge and best practices with colleagues
  
  
  

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Experience working in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet patient needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
