What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager position at Minute Men, Inc?
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Branch Office, including, but not limited to, interviewing, selecting, and training employees; setting and adjusting their rates of pay and hours of work; directing the work of employees; maintaining production or sales records for use in supervision or control; appraising employees' productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status; handling employee complaints and grievances; disciplining employees; planning the work; apportioning the work among the employees; providing for the safety and security of the employees or the property; planning and controlling the budget, and legal compliance.
• Communicate with corporate offices keeping them informed on any issues whether it be human resources, worker’s comp, legal or any other information request.
• Match candidates, as required, to the work and in an environment that fits their skill set including background checks.
• Maintain an environment of positive culture, high morale, motivation, and team work.
• Manage all active branch client receivables.
• Manage Branch P&L, specifically including top line sales growth, Gross Margin improvement, and expense management.
• Ensure that client and employee files are up to date and correct.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Manage Branch social media presence, online job postings, and onboarding of applicant quick apply’s through Facebook and the Minute Men web site.
• Coordinate improved candidate flow through job fairs, on-line job postings, social media, corporate career web sites, and other possible channels.
• Conduct daily and weekly branch staff meetings to review open requisitions and plan the day and week’s activities.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Regional or Executive leadership.
