SUMMARY: Monitors and performs activities to support departmental objectives of a technical nature to help facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Ability to recognize some manufacturing problems at early stages and with limited skill can analyze and propose counter measures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assists QE’s with Quality related projects.
- Assists Production with Quality related issues.
- Supports Non-conforming material control activities
- Product/Process audit and inspection
- Analyzing daily rejects to determine causal factors
- Utilizing various equipment to measure and collect data/information
- Participating in continuous improvement projects
- Maintains standards of housekeeping (5s) and safety per established policies and procedures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and prefer one year or more related experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
