Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and clinical evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to accurately diagnose conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavior management strategies.
• Provide individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions both in-person and via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care.
• Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or co-occurring disorders.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, clinical ethical guidelines, and medical records standards within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers—to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to advance evidence-based practices in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure or certification as a licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), psychologist (PhD/PsyD), or equivalent credentialing applicable in the region.
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
• Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management strategies.
• Experience with crisis intervention, inpatient/outpatient settings, and telehealth therapy modalities.
• Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and clinical documentation standards.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while demonstrating empathy and cultural competence.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses and treatments is preferred.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
