Position Overview
On-Time Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychotherapist (LGPC or LMSW) to join our growing behavioral health team in Randallstown, Maryland.
This is a part-time, hybrid 1099 contract position offering a flexible schedule and the opportunity to provide both in-person and telehealth psychotherapy services.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing clinical mental health services to individuals with a range of behavioral health needs, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
Experience working in an Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) or similar outpatient behavioral health setting is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to assigned clients.
- Conduct clinically appropriate assessments and ongoing evaluation of client needs.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions based on client diagnoses, symptoms, and treatment goals.
- Treat clients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, and other behavioral health conditions.
- Provide psychotherapy for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Complete progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and other required clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches when clinically indicated.
- Identify changes in risk level and appropriately respond to psychiatric or behavioral health crises.
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, substance use disorder treatment professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and care coordination as required.
- Maintain compliance with Maryland regulations, organizational policies, HIPAA requirements, and professional ethical standards.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Current and active Maryland LGPC (Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor) or LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional clinical experience providing behavioral health or psychotherapy services.
- Experience treating clients with conditions such as:
- Depression
- Anxiety disorders
- PTSD
- Trauma-related disorders
- Mood disorders
- Co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and psychotherapy.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse adult and/or adolescent populations.
- Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Comfortable providing services in both in-person and telehealth settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a Maryland Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC).
- Experience working with clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Experience with trauma-informed care.
- Familiarity with evidence-based psychotherapy approaches.
- Experience collaborating with psychiatric medication management and substance use disorder treatment providers.
- Familiarity with Maryland Medicaid behavioral health documentation requirements is a plus.
Schedule & Work Arrangement
This is a part-time hybrid position with a flexible schedule.
Therapists will provide a combination of in-person services at our Randallstown location and telehealth services, based on scheduling and client needs.
This position may be ideal for clinicians looking to build their caseload while maintaining flexibility in their work schedule.
