Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they place carry-out orders, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Accurately process payments using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring smooth transactions.
- Answer phone inquiries promptly with professional phone etiquette, taking orders and providing information.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and order pickup area to uphold high standards of guest service.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience
- Prior host/hostess experience or food service background preferred, especially within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and phone etiquette enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
