Hostess/Busser

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest experience
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area by clearing and resetting tables promptly
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages efficiently, ensuring timely service
• Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Support the front-of-house team with guest inquiries, phone etiquette, and special requests
• Uphold cleanliness standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and restocking supplies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations enhances your candidacy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of serving etiquette, phone etiquette, and guest services is advantageous
