VP OF LEASING
Our highly successful Real Estate client specializes in last-mile logistics real estate investments, with a current focus on development and redevelopment projects across high-barrier markets and is seeking a VP of Leasing. This role requires deep expertise in warehouse/industrial leasing and a strong understanding of the industrial real estate ecosystem.
NOTE: You must have significant industrial/warehouse leasing experience to be considered.
Position Overview The VP of Leasing will drive all revenue generation activities across their portfolio, reporting directly to the Fund President. This role translates their investment thesis into leasing results by managing broker relationships, negotiating leases, and directly sourcing tenants across their target markets. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage seven local leasing teams across target markets
- Own and execute all revenue generation activities across the portfolio
- Negotiate all Letters of Intent (LOIs) and lease agreements
- Directly source tenants through personal industry relationships
- Maintain deep market intelligence for each property and sub-market
- Provide property design input to deliver competitively positioned assets
- Represent Company at warehouse and logistics industry events
- Travel minimum 10 days per month for market visits and property tours
Required Qualifications
- 10-20 years of experience in industrial/logistics real estate leasing
- Proven track record leasing last-mile, warehouse, or distribution facilities
- Established relationships with national/regional logistics tenants (3PL, e-commerce, distribution)
- Experience negotiating complex lease transactions ($10M annual value)
- Strong relationships with institutional brokerage firms
- Understanding of fund economics and value creation strategies
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate independently
Compensation Compensation is ~$350K which includes a performance bonuses of 20-30% tied to leasing velocity, NOI achievement, and fund performance.
Timeline This role is aligned with the fund's 3-4 year investment horizon from acquisition through lease-up and sale. Potential for continuation into future funds based on performance and opportunities within the platform.
