General Manager Full-Service Resort Hotel (300 rooms) – Boise, Idaho Area Reports To: Ownership / Managing Partners
Compensation Base Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications) Bonus: Annual performance bonus tied directly to Year-over-Year Net Operating Income (NOI) growth.
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead our 300-room full-service resort in the Boise, Idaho area, featuring over 4 food and beverage operations, multiple event venues, and entertainment spaces. As the chief operating executive, you will be fully accountable for financial performance, operational excellence, guest experience, and team leadership. This is a high-visibility role with direct ownership-level exposure and the mandate to elevate the property to a true premier resort destination in the growing Boise market.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Performance & Growth
- Drive consistent year-over-year Net Operating Income (NOI) growth.
- Own the annual budget, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Optimize revenue across all streams: rooms (ADR/RevPAR), group sales, banquets, and all food & beverage operations.
- Identify and execute new revenue enhancement and cost-control opportunities.
Operational Excellence & Service Standards
- Provide direct leadership to all department heads (Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Sales & Catering, HR, Engineering, and Finance).
- Ensure rigorous implementation of SOPs, systems, and accountability measures across the resort, F&B outlets, and entertainment venues.
- Maintain exceptional guest service scores while improving operational efficiency.
- Oversee compliance, safety, and risk management.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, mentor, and hold accountable a high-performing executive team.
- Recruit top talent and develop succession plans.
- Foster a culture of ownership, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Lead weekly executive meetings focused on results and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of progressive senior leadership experience, with at least 3–5 years as General Manager of a branded full-service resort.
- Strong background in Food & Beverage operations, with proven success overseeing multiple (4 ) outlets including restaurants, bars, and banquets.
- Significant experience in resort and entertainment environments, including managing event venues, live entertainment, and guest experience programming.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable NOI growth.
- Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Passion for hospitality and elevating guest experiences.
- Must be willing to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
