What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Rep position at Millman Search?
Our client is one of the largest, privately held, real estate owner/managers with a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate properties in the USA. They have an immediate need for a Leasing Rep to join their existing leasing team in Buffalo, NY. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong sales mindset who can develop relationships, prospect commercial tenants, and help drive leasing efforts for their client's retail properties.
Key Responsibilities
· Proactively develop relationships with potential commercial tenants through cold-calling, networking, and canvassing on local, regional, and national levels.
· Lease retail space to commercial regional tenants, ensuring a strong co-tenant mix to maximize both destination and impulse buying.
· Manage daily leasing and property-related tasks, maintaining strong communication with commercial tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
· Conduct market research and prospect new commercial tenants to expand leasing opportunities.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial tenants.
· Support the identification and evaluation of new acquisition and development projects.
Qualifications
· Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial property leasing.
· Experience in sales, cold calling, prospecting, and budget management preferred.
· Proven track record of success in leasing or a business development related field in sales driven environments.
This is a salaried position with the opportunity to earn a lucrative bonus and includes a company car. Our client will relocate a qualified candidate for this position. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including matching 401K.
